Launch your first campaign the right way
One campaign, a broad audience, three creatives, a budget you can keep up. Then hands off for the first few days.
The simplest possible structure
Keep your first campaign simple. One campaign, with the objective tied to your money. One ad set with broad targeting: your country or area, a wide age range (say, US, ages 25–54), no interests. Three ads in that ad set, each a different angle on the same offer.
It feels like too little. But it gives the algorithm its best shot: one undivided budget, room to search, and enough creative to find what works.
Budget: steady beats big
Pick a daily amount, like $40/day, that you can keep up for several weeks. Consistency matters more than size. A small budget running 30 days learns more than the same money burned in five days.
Leave yourself room. If the planned budget makes you nervous, it’s too high. You’ll cut it after the first bad day, and that’s the surest way to never learn anything.
Everything starts paused
Review before you publish. Does the objective match what you want? Is the location right? Does the link go to the right page, and does it load fast on a phone? Does the first line of copy say what you sell?
In Adwize, every campaign is created paused. Nothing spends until you publish, and you see exactly what goes live, to whom, and at what budget before you approve.
The first few days: hands off
This is the hardest rule to follow. During the learning phase, results swing by design. A great day proves nothing, and neither does a bad one. Every big change restarts the phase and wipes what was learned.
Let it run. Watch, write down your questions, and wait for enough volume to make the numbers mean something. That’s when decisions start.
