What changes from one industry to another?
Three things change on Meta depending on what you sell. The targeting: housing and financing ads run in a Special Ad Category, with fixed ages, all genders and no ZIP codes. The words: an ad cannot assert or imply a reader’s health, criminal record or finances, which weighs on doctors, dentists and lawyers. And the forms: instant forms cannot ask about health, insurance, arrests or income. Each page below turns those rules into a setup for one trade, with sources checked on September 24, 2026.
